Independent capability activations inside one speaking session.
TaskRuntime is a synchronous owner of task state, governance and approval.
Live and offline drivers execute the OwnedInvocation it returns, then
return the completion to the same runtime. Workers never select a foreground
task or deliver speech. State snapshots and tool factories isolate accepted
task state from cancelled or superseded workers. Trusted custom tools must
not retain unrelated mutable state outside the supplied context/factory.
Snapshots are observations, not durable recovery checkpoints. Commit adapters must honor their idempotency argument and support external reconciliation; cancelling a future cannot establish whether an external effect happened.
Structs§
- Accepted
Task Effect - A service effect accepted by the reducer, retaining its original owner.
- Compiled
Skill - Executable capability definition. Trusted closures must not capture unrelated mutable state.
- Invocation
Completion - A worker result carrying the original owner and private state. Fields are private so applications cannot manufacture accepted state writes.
- Operation
Id - A session-local invocation and approval identity.
- Operation
Snapshot - An operation receipt or immutable approval proposal.
- Owned
Invocation - The only executable ticket produced by task admission or trusted approval. Its state and tool closures belong to this invocation, never another task.
- Owned
Task Service Work - Runtime-scoped service work. The private ticket cannot grant another task writes.
- Skill
Key - The installed definition pinned by an activation.
- Skill
Summary - Discoverable installed skill metadata.
- Task
Delivery - A tool completion’s publication decision.
- Task
Error - Configuration, admission or lifecycle error.
- TaskId
- A session-local activation identity.
- Task
Owner - Identity carried through contextual tool execution.
- Task
Pattern - A task-local temporal detector and its declarative actions.
- Task
Runtime - Task lifecycle reducer. Drive it from one control lane or a deterministic replay. At most one invocation is pending per activation; different tasks may execute concurrently. All commands finish synchronously, including approval requests.
- Task
Service Completion - Private completion of a runtime-prepared service job.
- Task
Services - Fresh per-activation services. Workers never receive session transport.
- Task
Session Snapshot - Complete observable task session. This is not a durable restore checkpoint.
- Task
Snapshot - One activation’s observable progress. Raw state is deliberately excluded.
- Task
Tool - One declared operation. Names are local to a skill.
- Task
Watcher - A state predicate and its declarative task-local actions.
Enums§
- Operation
Status - Operation lifecycle, including uncertainty after an interrupted commit.
- Reconciled
Outcome - An externally verified commit result, not an inference from cancellation.
- Task
Command - Trusted application/UI command. Models must never receive Decide or Reconcile.
- Task
Effect - An effect requested by task-local declarative services.
- Task
Observation - An observation whose task/revision was captured before routing or async work.
- Task
Status - Task lifecycle, separate from the lifecycle of its external operations.
- Task
Tool Effect - Effects determine admission, approval, cancellation and reconciliation.
Constants§
- MAX_
SKILL_ NAME - The longest skill name: its entry point,
start_{skill}, must fit the Live API’s 64-character function names.
Traits§
- Task
Memory Service - Memory operations bound to a trusted session subject and declared task slots. Ingestion and remember are accepted effects. Cancellation after execution starts cannot undo storage; returned slot projections still require current ownership. Each result is a complete projection: omitted or null slots remove a previous memory-owned value, while explicit inputs and accepted local changes remain.
Functions§
- validate_
skill_ identity - Validate identity shared by compiled catalogs and authoring documents.
Type Aliases§
- Flow
Factory - Builds fresh governance for each activation.
- Output
Projector - Projects declared outputs from accepted task state.
- Receipt
Applier - Reconstructs declared state effects from a verified external receipt without executing a tool.
- Task
Effects - Declarative effects rendered against accepted task state.
- Task
Services Factory - Builds fresh service registries, counters and resource bindings for an activation.
- Task
Tool Factory - Binds all captured state in tools to an isolated invocation state.
- Value
Validator - Input/output validation supplied by the authoring layer.
