Fields

event_id: EventId

Identifier for this envelope.

occurred_at: DateTime<Utc>

When it occurred.

user_id: UserId

Whose memory it concerns.

logical_session_id: SessionId

The logical session it belongs to.

turn_id: Option<TurnId>

The turn it belongs to, when applicable.

idempotency_key: String

Deduplication key for at-least-once delivery.

schema_version: u32

Schema version of the payload.

payload: MemoryEvent

The event itself.

Wrap an event for a user and session.

The idempotency key is derived from the addressing tuple and the payload so a retried append is recognised as a duplicate rather than duplicated.
